About Remedy Health
We started working with Irish Organic Hemp farmers in early 2017 to provide the Irish consumer with the highest quality oils. We grow, harvest and dry our hemp in Irish farms and extract our oils in our processing facility in Youghal, Co. Cork. Our main focus has always been the quality of our products.
Ayurveda
When we began creating our products we were heavily inspired by the practice of Ayurveda. Ayurveda “the science of life” is the holistic knowledge of a long and healthy life, and its origins date back thousands of years. It is a system of traditional medicine native to India and it is the worlds most ancient system of healthcare.
In 2021 we decided to expand our range and introduced our Ayurvedic powders. Cannabis sativa (hemp) has been used in Ayurveda for many centuries as it was recognised as one of the five sacred plants in the Vedas, along with soma and barley. In the Atharvaveda, it has been suggested that it was referred by many as “food of the gods”
Our powders come in natural flavour and also three blends, influenced by the Ayurvedic book of medicine.
Turmeric and Black Pepper – Curcumin is the key compound of turmeric which is the most active ingredient. It is responsible for the most health benefits turmeric offers. On the other hand, piperine is present in black pepper. Piperine enhances curcumin absorption in the body by up to 2,000%.
Spirulina and Wheatgrass – Spirulina is a type of blue-green algae that people take as a dietary supplement. Spirulina is considered a superfood due to its excellent nutritional content and health benefits. Wheatgrass is a healthy and tender form of grass that is full of nutritional values. Wheatgrass consists of iron, calcium, magnesium, chlorophyll, vitamins A, C, and E.
Maca and Cacao – Maca root powder is very nutritious, is low in fat and contains a fair amount of fibre. It’s also high in some essential vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, copper and Iron. Cacao in its pure form is an amazing source of antioxidants, it is a source of magnesium and it is one of the highest plant-based food sources of iron.

We have been working closely with Organic Farmer Ed Handbridge in Co. Wicklow since 2017. Our oils are planted, grown, harvested, processed and bottled in Ireland. All of our products go through full analytic testing for quality allowing us to make sure we offer the highest- grade products, that are also cruelty free and vegan friendly.
